Position
Summary:
As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success.
Currently, we are seeking a Human Resources Technician who contributes to the accomplishment of HR practices and objectives that will provide a high performance customer centered culture.
The HR Tech I assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.
This employee carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas; payroll, employee relations, benefits, all facets of recruitment, employee programs, and maintenance of HR system.

Support the internal and external staffing/recruiting process, administer testing, schedule interview, drug test, WorkSmart assessment, physician evaluation, and New Hire Orientation.
Responsible for maintenance of ICIMS and for recruiting efforts.
Assist with the development and production of designated queries, surveys, data collection and reports pertaining to internal and external staffing.
Participate and assist with recruiting for Tifton Distribution Center.
Special work as assigned including various other research and/or statistical compilation.
Provide administrative support for calendar management, meeting coordination, arranging appointments and conference calls.
Coordinate uniform program for new hires and yearly renewal.
Support processing payroll for 275 employees.
Support maintenance of HR systems and any changes pertaining to employee personal and job data records.
Support answering telephone, open/sorts and prioritizes mail.
Prepare badges for security and safety purposes.
Assist with all company events.
Responsible for monthly I-9 audits.
Process appropriate paperwork for Federal Work Opportunity Credit.
Assist Managers and Supervisors with purchasing office supply needs and review invoice for accuracy.
Administratrion of benefits.
All other duties as assigned by HR Manager and Supervisor.

High School diploma with an Associates degree preferred.
Previous experience in Human Resources a plus.
Exceptionally strong interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills.
Strong focus on customer service required.
Ability to work with very diverse groups of employees at all levels of authority.
Must have a strong professional commitment to Human Resources.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to balance several priorities from multiple sources required.
Flexibility and adaptability in dealing with rapidly changing priorities and demands necessary.
Must have a strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direction/supervision Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines under pressure while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Excellent follow through on commitments, using sound judgment with the ability to recognize and handle sensitive/confidential information.
Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
Working knowledge of a HRMS and Time Management System.
Excellent attendance.
Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.
Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
Must be a team player with a can do attitude.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
