Starting Pay $11.25 1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:
According to the production schedule, cuts work in process inventory (log material) to proper thickness per product specifications.
Monitors equipment for operational efficiency.
Checks and cleans or changes the cutting blade as necessary.
May perform the most basic troubleshooting of the peeler machine, gaining assistance from supervisor as needed.
Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Inspects the cut product to ensure product specifications are met and high quality material is sent to the next process.
Performs other duties as required.
Operates the peeler machine to cut work in process material to the proper specification.
Under general supervision, uses standard operating procedures to perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED equivalency preferred.
Prior experince in manufacturing setting preferred.
Excellent attendance
Effective Team Member
Good oral and written communication effectively interact with other in immediate work unit and in related support ares.
Have a good safety record, and follows safe work practices.
Ability to communicate and write in standard English and to convey information clearly and understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
Basic math calculations as adding, subtracting, multiple's and dividing in all unites of measure. Including fractions and decimals.

Options:Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
