Registered Nurse (Nurse Manager, Tifton CBOC)
Nurse Manager (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) Holds twenty-four hour accountability for management of a defined area of organizing nursing services or patient care within the Carl Vinson VAMC, Dublin GA First level-nursing manager who functions under the direction and guidance of the Associate Director, Patient Care Services by providing clinical and administrative leadership Responsible for the management of Nursing Practice and Nursing Operations within their defined areas of responsibility Facilitates and interdisciplinary approach to high quality, cost effective and customer focused health care Directly supervises all nursing personnel in their defined area of responsibility Responsible and accountable for the overall functioning of the unit, including staffing, scheduling, resource utilization, patient flow, performance improvement activities and staff and program evaluations.
Possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting, which will enable effective implementation of health promotion and prevention practices Management of acute and chronic illnesses and attainment of optimal levels of functioning and/or support of the dying patient and significant others Demonstrates and ensures safe working practices that include adherence to Infection Control Standards and safe use and operation of equipment Performs other duties as assigned to the position Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 08:
00 - 4:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
